We've been here a few times and enjoyed ourselves each time. Service is fast & friendly. The food is good; we enjoyed the pulled pork and mac n cheese (the black eyed peas, not so much). Nice selection of cocktails and craft beers to make everyone in our group happy. I really like the ambiance of this place. Good music selection. The outdoor area is a tropical oasis with string lights in the trees. It's a great tropical setting perfect for large groups. It's not a cheap fast food BBQ joint. It's a restaurant.

My wife and I ate at this establishment and were VERY impressed! The decor and atmosphere is wonderful. And of course, the food... one word: Outstanding! My FAVORITE are the Tempura Onion Rings! You HAVE to order these! The best I have ever tasted! The food here is excellent and so is the service. Everyone there is very friendly and it all contributes to your dining experience. Don't forget to take home a bottle of their excellent BBQ sauce! I highly recommend you give Blue Front a try! You're in for a memorable evening out!

I just can't give this place more then 2 stars. Yes, they just opened about a week ago so I might go back after they have had time to sort through their issues and see if there is any improvement. They definitely have the potential to be a great BBQ spot but many kinks need to be worked out. Decor is very strange. When I think of down home BBQ (as they describe their restaurant) I think of picnic tables, red and white checkered table cloths, the smell of a smoker or meat being grilled and a sense of being welcomed into a friends home. Walking into Blue Front you see the very modern bar with a piano and African animals and African masks as well as blue lighting. Kinda cool but not BBQ themed at all. The dining room has white table cloths, zebra printed chairs and benches and teal and yellow paint. Again very cool but very strange. I'm glad I dressed up cause I would have felt out of place in flip flops and jeans. The bathroom added to the strangeness with a full beach theme going on with sea shells. They also have a man playing calypso steel drums. It was very relaxing and not too loud but felt weird with my mac n cheese and baked beans. The servers uniform was really odd too. The waitresses all had on cut up white Blue Front tees with cut off shorts and sneakers. They were a little under-dressed for the decor. Our waitress was extremely sweet and informed us that it was her first day. Everyone has to start somewhere so I'm usually patient but she forgot to put our dinner order in and then admitted she completely forgot we ordered dinner and even forgot what we ordered. The menu is pretty tiny to memorize but since they use iPads to take orders there is no trying to remember anything when you don't even have to look up at the customer you can just read things off your device. She was nice enough and apologized with a complimentary order of their corn bread muffins to tide us over. They were ok but one of the was so burnt and hard as a rock that my husband joked he could knock someone out with it. I'm surprised the kitchen let that one even make it out On to the food...... We started with an order of 6 wings hot. I really liked them. The sauce was hot and sweet at the same time. Not your usual hot wing sauce but very good. For dinner we ordered the 1/4 Jerk Chicken with mac and cheese and blue front fries( truffle with I think asiago cheese) also the Pulled pork dinner with baked beans. By the time it came out we were starving! We both agreed the mac n cheese was horrible. Zero seasoning. I dumped a ton of salt, pepper, and hot sauce on mine and then they were edible. The chicken had a great crust but it was way too dry. I had to take a sip of water to get it down. The pulled pork was the worst of the night. Again zero seasoning just pork and a bad bbq sauce dumped over it. The truffle fries were left out of the order and only regular fries were served. That's a simple mistake but after everything else it was really annoying. After they were brought out we both tried them and thought they were not good. The cheese was cold and the fries were luke warm. Maybe if the cheese was melted they would have been decent. Their prices are really fair and our dinner was only $35.00 for one appetizer, two entrees, and one beer. Too bad the food was not good though. I hope they get it together cause a good BBQ place is needed in our neck of the woods.

A three time visitor. This place is indeed as good as it gets. I've had the Blue Front burger with the Truffle Fries twice and have enjoyed it every time! I tried the baby back ribs last visit and was very happy with the taste and quality! The meat fell right off the bone. Everyone who I have brought raves about the burger and ribs. The setting a beautiful. Very modern 60's spacey, if you will and the outside is awesome. Many tables of all sizes and shapes along with the privacy. Very fun for a date, family gathering or just a fun group of people. I hear on the weekends they are open very late and host beer pong! I plan on going with some buddies for that spectacle!

I live in the Lake Worth area and have driven past the blue front restaurant many many times. I decided I wanted to try it on my birthday. Wow I was not disappointed! The outside dining area is awesome! The food is so good and the services was great. We will absolutely be back.

The food is excellent. We ordered wings, Gorganzola salad, pulled pork, the parmesean truffle fries, mac and cheese and cornbread. All were expertly prepared and cordially served. The ambiance has African and island influences. Music was nice too. BLUE FRONT will definitely be a regular spot for me. Also good to know they have a walk up window at lunch time.

Awesome BBQ, the staff is so friendly and Rodney is awesome. Came up and talked to us for awhile before our food came. Definitely suggest eating here if you haven't been here.

The pulled pork is divine. The cole ale was homemade and crunchy. Service at the bar was welcoming and friendly. Brought some take out home too. Can't wait to try the sweet potato pie. Happy hour beers are 3 bucks with nice choices. Great blues for ambiance and World Cup on the TV. Who could ask for more?!

I want to like this place, but I just can't. I give them three stars because it's obvious there is so much love there, but the food is just ok. I love the Blue Front sauce but the meat itself doesn't taste right, the veggies and sides are under-favored, onion rings and fries were great! This place could be amazing but there is some major lack of flavor. I have been there three times to try it...maybe 4th will be the charm?

This place is FANTASTIC. A simple menu done perfectly. Every item is absolutely delicious. Best BBQ in town. What a fun, cute place. Great service, great menu. Every time I bring someone here it's the only place they want to go when they visit us!! Can't say enough about the food. Incredibly reasonable, and I think the truffle fries can't be legal. They are just toooooooo delicious!! Ask for the hot BBQ sauce, it is soooo good!

The Blue Front pulled pork sandwich was very good. The sauce is a mustard base, on the sweet side. My husband said the burger was amazing. The restaurant is opening at noon now. At 3:30pm when we were there, lots of folks were picking up carry out. Those who were eating in were seated at the bar, but they were happy to let us sit at a table.

Great menu w/choices for everyone. Nice atmosphere, islandy decor and live music. Nice to have them back!

The atmosphere is perfectly relaxed. We had great service and they have Due South beer! The outside area is sweet - the tables are spaced apart which make dinner feel private. There was piano music inside and steel drums outside. The food was great. Not typical american BBQ. I had jerk chicken, baked beans and amazing cornbread. To top it off... Key lime pie with a stellar crust. I'll definitely be back.

I went here for a friend's birthday dinner and was very impressed when I entered. They did a great job renovating the space both inside and out. The patio is beautiful, and definitely would lik to come back for a drink outside on a nice night. The service was great! Our server was very frindly and attentive. We brought our own birthday cake, and they were happy to hold it for us and bring it out after dinner. This place wouldve received 4 stars, if it werent or the appetizers falling short. We ordered salsa and guacamole. The portions of each were so small, that we finished it and still had about 75% of the chips leftover. Also, the guacamole was not very good. It was mostly tomatoes. We did also order wings and they were delicious. For my main course, I ordered a half rack of baby backs, with roasted sweet potatoes and baked beans. The portion was very generous, and everything tasted amazing! Overall, it was a very nice night, and I would definitely come back

After reading some of the reviews we weren't sure what to expect from Blue Front but what a pleasant surprise! There were 3 couples in our group & we pretty much sampled some of everything. The fish dip & onion ring starters were very tasty. My husband & I had the St. Louis half racks (very meaty) with 2 sides for $15. Our friends split the Blue Front Platter (chicken, pulled pork, ribs & 3 sides) for $25 ... More than enough food at great prices! Be sure to sit outdoors... They have some large tables & small private ones also. It's a true gem to find this kind of tropical setting in the area.. Magical! Very fun, funky atmosphere.... Would be a great place for an outdoor wedding! All 6 of us agreed we'd be back soon!

The Pulled pork, baked beans, and Mac-n-cheese were all like momma used to make. I'm not a big fan of mustard-based BBQ sauce (I know many are), but I left full and happy nonetheless. The Art Deco interior and features are cool (I love the doors and this building in general) but each owner of this building has added a little of their personality to the interior and it has slowly devolved from Art Deco Chic to...err...something else. :). Decent place, I would eat here again.

This was my husband's and my first time visiting Blue Front and although the food was pretty good, I have to say we did not have an enjoyable experience. When we walked in, we were greeted by one of the waiters and he informed us there was a wedding reception going on so things might be a little hectic. We didn't mind the fact that there was a wedding, however, the wedding party/guests were very rude and quite obnoxious with their language. A few of the guests' voices were very loud and every other word out of their mouths was the word f**k. I admit, I use profanity from time to time although I try not to but I certainly never use it in a public place especially a family restaurant! For this, I am disappointed in the wait staff for not asking them to please watch their language or at least take it outside. My husband and I barely spoke to each other throughout our whole meal because we had to yell over the wedding party to be heard. Anyway, back to the food, we ordered the Blue Front Platter that way we could try a little bit of everything since it was our first time. The food was good. Portion size was a bit small for a bbq restaurant. Collard greens were very good. Cornbread was good but a bit on the thin side. Each slice was less than an inch thick. Before we left, the waiter apologized for the ruckus and said normally it's much quieter. We accepted the apology but we probably won't be returning. Our advice to anyone considering dining at Blue Front, call ahead to see if there is an event. If there is, choose a different night to go.

I remember the olden days of Blue Front on Palm Beach Lakes, and going with my family as a kid. DE-LICIOUS! This place? Not so much. Weird reception at the door by the hostess, who then made us wait while she took a phone order (we were there first). We wanted to sit outside and she tried to sit us at a picnic type table with no backs on the benches (I have a bad back...not happening...just weird). We opted to sit inside after all. Server was nice and attentive, to a point. No extra napkins...(HELLO??? WE'RE EATING RIBS! with a 5 year old with us!!!). No drink refills offered. Food ok. Nothing to write home about. For $25 for a full rack of ribs, I would think the service and food would not be sub-par. The sauce is still spot on. Thats about it. Eclectic decor to say the least. Not a great first impression. We definitely wont be going back and I can assure you there are way too many other restaurants out there to not be on your game. Where was the manager asking how our food and service was? No manager in sight. Unfortuantely, we wont be going back. And I'm guessing they wont be around for too long unless they start to step up their game. To top it off? Napkins are not appropriate hand drying towels for the bathroom. Weird weird weird.

So I have been to the bar several times over the past year. I know it just opened up last year & they are still trying to find their stride. I like it but the menu to me is a bit offbeat & limited. That is my biggest gripe about this place frankly. They just don't have a big selection nor a variety of food. And overall, the food is fine. i just didn't find any HUGE mouthwatering items. I had a pulled pork sandwich both times. They were both solidly good but not fabulous. I found the portions to be regular sized not overly generous which is fine also. I really liked the salsa. It is fresh & quite good but not stellar. The chips are generic yellow corn. Not toasted or warm. Likely out of a Sysco bag. Nothing special. The onion rings were a standout: thin rings, lightly floured & fried. (I had to order them separately as the sandwich came with just cole slaw.). The cole slaw was vinegar based NOT the creamy cole slaw I love (I love good Cole slaw with my BBQ). The collard greens were intriguing. They were vinegar based & had salt pork or the like & had a kick. Pretty darn good. The corn bread oddly was a standout: very moist, sweet & fantastic! The interior is a spacious old Art Deco building & has furnishings to reflect it. The bar area is medium sized. There is a medium sized interior dining room also. The real gem is the outside Courtyard area that is accented by lush tropical foliage. (It also creates a natural barrier to the ugly blight & noise of S Dixie Hwy). There is an outside bamboo bar that looked as if it was just a server station. There were tables & chairs dotted around the courtyard. There was also a ping pong table & a Firepit. I really enjoyed the music in the bar area. Good sound system playing great classic rock. The Bartenders were very pleasant, friendly, outgoing, helpful & competent. Overall, it's a good place that has the potential to be a great place. I am hoping they improve the selection & variety of the menu. It really needs to be rounded out a bit in my opinion though....

After reading some really nasty reviews of this place I had my doubts while I waited for my guests to arrive. I was sitting in this beautifully landscaped tropical backyard with plenty of room and immaculate detail in keeping the small pebble stones of the walking paths. My Tica waitress if a bit new was accommodating and attentive. I was expecting to have poor service with long delays in getting my food but that was unfounded. From order to service of the meal took at most, 15 minutes. My son and girlfriend shared the Blue Front special which consisted of baby back ribs and chicken with some sides. My wife and I split a full rack of St. Louis ribs that were so tender they literally fell off the bone. The Blue Front fries are served with Parmesan cheese and were tasty but nothing special. Mac and cheeses was a bit heavy but the taste was good but not outstanding. I asked the manager about all those negative reviews and he stated some people had some issues with owner not related to this establishment and decided the way to get back at hi. Was to trash his restaurant . Forget those negative reviews. Go there for a really nice ,relaxing evening with some good food and drinks and bring some friends. I am not related nor do I have any stake in this joint.

From the moment we parked we were greeted with kindness & warmth. The place is very inviting, cozy yet open. The decor is absolutely perfect for a chill not too casual but also not overly pretentious dinner date. Nice open C shaped bar with big fish tank & mirrors! Cheetah print & wooden swivel bar stools. Outdoor yard/patio area is spotted with palm trees, glittering rope lights, a gorgeous fountain and perfectly spaced round tables. The food was great! We ordered the platter with chicken, ribs & pulled pork- Mac & cheese, baked beans & cornbread, all of which were super great, The perfect amount for 2 people! Our waitress was courteous & helpful- really great staff & service. Our waitress actually recognized us from TV. Lol.

We were staying in the lake worth area and decided to give this place a go randomly, without looking it up on the web. Staff was friendly , but was not very attentive. Seemed to be a dance party going on outside on the patio? Maybe a wedding. Further research leads me to believe that we happened upon a gaybar/ hangout for Middle Aged gay men. Doesn't really bother me , but the service was subpar and slow. Overall, food was decent, but the atmosphere ruined the dinner experience. Maybe not a good place to bring the kids, hahahah!

I've been a fan a Blue Front BBQ sauce since I was a little kid... so to have a Blue Front restaurant in Lake Worth is very good news! The atmosphere is a mix of Miami meets Caribbean meets BBQ and the food is even better. I strongly recommend the Pulled Pork Special or the Baby Back Ribs. Enjoy.

Headed down to Blue Front for a girl friends birthday. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. It was quite a mix of sensations, I must admit... Blue walls, african themed decor, tropical steel drums and the large lovely landscaped outside area was Key Westy all that going on with the luscious smell of amazing BBQ. We grabbed a table outside and the service was quick and friendly. We enjoyed some drinks while we waited on our appetizers and couldnt believe how quick and hot the food came out, even with a party of 50 being served inside. The truffle fries and wings were delicious, for sure, but the baby back ribs... OMG PERFECTION. The meat was juicy and so tender it was falling off the bone and more than I could eat. Mac and cheese was good too. So pleased with this hidden gem in Lake Worth. We will def be back again!

Fantastic BBQ sauce, great pulled pork, decent sides. However, we were informed upon arrival that there would be no chicken available because it was still smoking. Bummer. The atmosphere is different than you would expect from a BBQ place, but cool. The outside has tons of potential, but desperately needs a professional cleaning crew and a renovation.

Food was great. Typical Lake Worth laid back vibe I love. Lots if seating inside and out. If they were on the Ave. they would be super busy, but right now it's a local gem. Can't wait to come back again and again.

What a horrible experience! We have been wanting to try this place since it opened, but we would of been better off not going at all. 45 min wait to be seated . Sat at the bar and it cost us $33 for 2 draft beers and 2 captain Morgans! Wayyyyy overpriced! Finally sat down and was asked if "we had been helped " 10 min after waiting for any service. After receiving our drinks, another 30 min wait until the food arrived. Not impressed at all! Actually pretty gross! Ribs were cold and smothered with cold BBQ sauce. Baked beans looked like deer poop! The setting of the restaurant/ ambiance makes no sense. It has a beautiful outdoor tropical theme with safari furniture blue walls and BBQ menu. Left us confused on the concept or what they were trying to acheive. Wait staff wears whatever they want, facial piercings, and sloppy. Overall, you wouldn't be seeing me back in that place in my lifetime!

Celebrated my birthday at Blue Front with my friends and family. The atmosphere was great! The ribs was delicious and the portion generous! However, some of the sides was just ok. Our server Shannon was terrific! The outside garden was so pretty. All in all I had a great time! I'm giving it a five star for overall experience.

Wasn't too impressed, food was nothing special and took over half to get the check. Plus the decor and environment is a joke for a bbq place. It looks like whoever owned place before them, just locked the doors and left and they decided to reuse everything.

Food here is excellent! I got the pulled pork sandwich with their amazing sauce and baked bean, and it was so good. The sauce they make is delicious. I need to buy a bottle. The atmosphere is really cool and laid back. Our waiter was ok but I never let one person ruin the night! Overall: great place! Thank you for your super awesome food and atmosphere!

What a gorgeous little gem in Lake Worth!! excellent pulled pork and truffle Parmesan fries, Mac and cheese was amazing. MUST sit outside feels like an off the beaten path place in the Keys. Whomever decorated this place did an excellent job! Retro tropical. The music is so relaxing We Absolutely LOVE this place I can't wait to bring my out of town friends and family here every time!!! I pray this place stays :)) p.s ALL of the wait staff was extra kind and helpful :)

I got take out last night, the pulled pork sandwich. It was really good, the bun was not the best, kind of soggy by the time I got it - probably better when ordered and eaten on site, but the pork tasted great. The sides are really really really really small, I got coleslaw - I wished there was more of it - yum! The only real problem I encountered was there is no website or menu online. I had to call and ask what they offered. Seems a bit "out of the loop," you know?

Always looking for a good rib place. Four in our party. Two of us ordered the St. Louis style ribs and two the pulled pork sandwich. Ribs were not good. First of all, the meat was so soft and mushy that when you tried to pick up a bone the meat simply fell off the bone onto the plate. The only way you could eat these ribs was to pick the bones up, let the meat fall off, and then eat the pork off the plate. It was more like eating stew meat then ribs. Secondly, the meat was full of large globs of gelatinous fat, that was hard to separate from the meat due to the consistency of both the meat and the fat. Lastly, I have read rave reviews about the Blue Front BBQ sauce....no big deal. One person at our table had the more expensive Blue Front fries with truffle oil and parmesan cheese, and he said he could not taste any difference from the regular fries that others at our table had. The two people at our table who had the pulled pork sandwich liked them and liked the regular fries. Service was great, Waitress and entire staff were very nice and friendly, But all things considered, I will not be going back to Blue Front BBQ.

This is a new BBQ place by the folks that make Blue Front BBQ sauce. Even though I don't eat meat, we decided to stop by and have some drinks. First, the building is historic and beautiful, it is also huge especially when you add in the very large outside space. Frankly the size of the property has been the downfall of many businesses. But, they did a lovely job of renovating the interior. The feel is vary Caribbean which makes sense for the location. They added a big beautiful bar in the front room and I was happy to see that they seem to be getting a great bar crowd. Then there is a front and a back dining room and then the outside courtyard. They've clearly put some money into the courtyard and its a great space. The blue and white makes sense based on the name of the BBQ sauce. Second, service was friendly and wait time was normal. As for the food, I had the fish dip, which I though was tasty, especially when I added a little bit of the Blue Front BBQ sauce. But, I'd suggest that they serve the dip with something besides single wrap saltine crackers. It is annoying to have to unwrap crackers and I would have preferred some flat bread or a better cracker style. I also had the BF fries which were advertised as having truffle oil and Parmesan cheese. I thought the fries were served on the cooler side and the flavor profile was not as strong as I was expecting. My husband had six wings (again we just stopped in for drinks) and he raved about them. Price was reasonable, seems like they are still working out a few details but we will be back and my husband is looking forward to trying out some of the other BBQ offerings.

Great BBQ and a fun atmosphere. Don't be intimidated by it's Dixie Hwy location. The Art Deco building is interesting but the highlight is the courtyard oasis. It's like a mini-vacation and totally unexpected for a BBQ joint. Aqua color scheme with leopard print fabrics, a big bar, baby grand piano, and a lush festive courtyard. Great tasty ribs and chicken, strong drinks and friendly service. We're from out of town but the staff made us feel like locals. You'll be delighted you came and be sure to bring friends. We'll be back!

Went on a Saturday night and was seated right away. Service was extremely fast, I'm guessing due to the use of ipads by the wait staff to communicate with the kitchen. My friend and I both agreed that the pulled pork was the best we've ever had. The macaroni and cheese didn't look like anything special when it came out, but it was very good as well. I wasn't overly impressed by the Blue Front fries, as they tasted basically the same as normal fries to me - but they were okay overall. A major positive was that the prices were extremely fair/cheap. We both got the pulled pork platter with two sides and a biscuit and our total bill was less than $20. We were also in and out of the restaurant in less than 30 minutes. We both agreed we'll definitely be back. Looking forward to bringing more friends and trying the ribs next time. I'm hoping they open for lunch soon too!

What can I say I drive past this place at least twice a week and smell the amazing food being smoked. Decided to try it with some friends on a Saturday night was greeted right away from the hostess and was asked if I wanted to sit in or out side. The out side looked very lit and spacious so we decided to eat out side on the cool night. As we sat out waitress greeted us and took out drink orders ( they serve due south on tap). We decided to go with the pulled pork and that half jerked chicken with cold slaw and the corn bread. We received out meals and it came out about 10 minutes after we ordered . The corn bread was amazing and so was the pulled pork and half chicken and cold slaw. The pulled pork was glazed with the blue front BBQ sauce and the half chicken had amazing jerk sauce . Also for dessert we had the key lime pie and the sweet potato pie which was also very good. What can I say defiantly will be returning again and will be telling all my friends. Support your local BBQ joint and go to blue front BBQ

I remember the original restaurant and had high hopes for this new one but it was a huge let down. The ribs were cooked poorly and were dry and came out lukewarm. I have been a huge fan of the Blue Front sauce for many years. When I lived in Africa I use to have the sauce shipped to me, so I love the sauce. I give it another shot in a few months b/c I really love BBQ joints and I really want this place to make it.

I'm reading this place a 2 star because of the speed of our order. We need some food fast we are in a hurry with events and plans going on at home and I didn't want the wife to cook. I walked in it took a few minutes probably 2 to 3 minutes to be recognized the place was very slow it was close to 5 o'clock. There are few lectures at the bar groveling over each other. Then I proceeded to order my breakfast the menu was very plain and simple and I was thinking about giving the review when I was there but I'm glad I waited till after we got home and ate. The ribs were pretty dry so obviously they weren't freshly made they were probably taking out the fridgerator reheated through some sauce on top then given to us. They forgot are collard greens. We want it baby backs and even after calling and complaining I swear up and down they were still st. Louis style ribs. There was no back strap. The bean salad though was very good the black eye peas salad was very good. The macaroni and cheese was meh. The place was real funky I kind of felt like it was rain forest cafe or something with all the stuffed animals & Sue look feel all there was a guy playing the piano but I think he was just hungover or drinking too much I don't know if he was part of the scene or not and the staff were nice but they didn't seem very professional which is a problem a lot of fun business is these days anyways so blue front will I go back no but maybe but I doubt it.

Excellent barbecue as always! The manager actually ran to the store to get specific ingredients for my wife's signature cocktail, a Pickled Hooch. Best atmosphere and music in Lake Worth. Totally worth a stop. Fried Oreos are a must!

First thing I noticed was strange, flamboyant deco. I had called in a takeout order for 1/4 of a "jerk" chicken. It did not taste grilled, marinated, smoked, dry rubbed - or anything like that. It was more like a baked chicken leg with some spicy sauce squirted on it. A $6.99 roasted whole chicken in a bag from Publix would have been a big step up in flavor, meat quality and roast quality. I reluctantly picked at my chicken, the fries were unappetizingly soggy, and I took one bite of the collard greens and the rest ended up in my trashcan. To cap the experience off, the cute & flirty server kept some of my change without asking. My visit was several weeks after it first opened. I sincerely hope they were just figuring things out and it's gotten better, but I have not been back to find out.

I wrote another review about my visit to this restaurant about a week ago. In that review I detailed all the things that are wrong with this restaurant. At that time I made a complaint to the server who had the manager come to my table. He could have not been more friendly nor apologetic and invited me to return with his compliments. I did so tonight, and rather than going into a long dissertation about what is wrong with this restaurant I'm just going to say don't bother. It's so unfortunate because there is so much potential, and the staff members are so nice. If you want good ribs go to Tree's in Lake Worth/ Greenacres at Jog and Lake Worth road or to Longhorn on Okeechobee at Jog. I will say the hot brownie and vanilla ice cream was delicious!

When we arrived we were seated promptly, four of us total. The atmosphere was not what you would expect for bbq. We all had the St Louis Ribs with two sides and corn bread. The ribs were fall of the bone, moist so delicious, we all enjoyed our meal with no complaints. The only thing we would not recommend would have to be the coffee after the meal, it tasted like it was left over from the morning.

Passed by this place a least 100 times. Decided to give it a try after reading the Yelp Reviews. The food was excellent, good size portions, the meat fell off the bone on the baby backs. Super tender. Served with garlic Parmesan cheese french fries and garlic string beans, a side of corn bread and cold ice tea it was yummy. Also the pulled pork sandwich was good with French fries. Delicious with Blue Fronts very own mild or hot sauce. Nicely decorated in a tropical setting. Outside tropical garden seating also available. Very clean establishment great service and great food. Clean restrooms.

A new BBQ place must be checked out! I'm glad I tried Blue Front and got it out of my system. But...I won't be going back. Why? Primarily the food! It just wasn't good. First if all, my pulled pork was cold...like it was in the refrigerator and quickly reheated without actually paying attention. So the grease was still solid on that first bite. Yuck! Next, the pork was just not tasty. My son got ribs and they were WAY to smoky...and we like smoky! He also wished for warmed BBQ sauce instead if the bottle on the table. Portions were ok as far as the meat, but the sides were small. The plate was big with lots of bare spots! Looked ridiculous. I didn't like the cole slaw because the onion in it was overwhelming, so I didn't mind the small portion. Service was very friendly but a bit slow when it was time to check out. Yeah, the decor and blue-ness was weird but I don't really care about decor that much if the food and service are good. We sat outside and that was cool except for the drunks at the next table who were evidently partially deaf too. Not sure what the grand piano is all about in a BBQ place. Someone has an over active imagination maybe. Put in a juke box or maybe...nothing. Use the space for tables. But lose the grand piano. It's pretentious even for me...and I play the piano! Oh yeah, put an actual towel dispenser in the bathroom and take the towels off the urinal! Gross!

I enjoy trying new places and attracted by uniqueness of the building and yelp reviews. Driven by this building for years when it was other places and never stopped. This time fe ided to stop in for lunch. Very impressed with the decor, very hip and cool. The outside patio was beautiful, had a very retro 1960 feel. I learned the rrdturant has been around since the 60's but obviously in other locations. Although a bar b que joint, very eclectic menu with outstanding apps/bar bites. I been here 3x's, twice for lunch once for drinks and apps. Pull pork sandwhich with fries were spot on,at $10 a great deal. Next visit grilled shrimp in a garlic sauce, outstanding. Finally my fav was the fig and goat cheese Flatbread, outta this world. Place has live music although not when i was there but piano bar and speakers indicate otherwise. Very cool hip neighborhood place. My only negative is as an older building the ac was not very good, a bit warm. However the good outweighs this negative. Definately a place that needs to be tried.

My family and I have eaten here several times, and each time was a wonderful experience. The waiters and waitresses are always so attentive and helpful. Everyone is so inviting and welcoming...such a pleasure. And the food is excellent! The decor is absolutely beautiful. We love eating outside because it makes us feel like we're in a tropical setting. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants for the family.

Bluefront has a cute atmosphere and the staff is pretty nice. I had the baby back ribs and my boyfriend had the bbq chicken which was very dry and both meals came out cold, even my baked beans.

I have heard mixed reviews about the new Blue Front that relocated from West Palm Beach to Lake Worth under new ownership. As a committed consumer of Blue Front BBQ Sauce for over 40 years, I have been wanting to sample if the food is still as good as back in the days. If not for the sauce, the St Louis Ribs would be bland. The meat was tender and fell off the bones. The sides didn't make me excited either. Service was good and our order was delivered pretty quickly. The eclectic ambiance was a bit unexpected for a BBQ restaurant....a Key West feel with a few Asian, art deco, Caribbean artifacts and a baby grand piano? The sound of the steel drum was really nice. The lush outdoor backyard garden space with scattered seating, ligthing and tiki torches would make for a pleasant Florida evening dining experience. I may consider dining again if a special offer becomes available. Otherwise I will continue to support the brand by buying the sauce from my grocer.

We went there with some friends one evening and had a spectacular meal. One of the guys that came with us was a seasoned BBQ'er and even he said he was impressed. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful at night and the owner made us feel comfortable by lighting the fire pit next to our table and showing us the unique woodwork around the restaurant. Highly recommend. Getting harder and harder to find authentic BBQ like this. P.S. Had a great jazz band playing most of the night, and after they finished we saw the owner shredding it on the grand piano! Very Cool!

Growing up here I remember Blue Front when it was in WPB. The ribs were to die for so my dad, wife, and me decided to try this location. What a disappointment! The ribs were tough and did not have the traditional pit BBQ taste I remember. We won't be going back. The one star reflects the poor food and not the service. It was actually pretty good.

We ate dinner here tonight, & the food was good. But the filthy bathroom & dirty floors through out the entire place, makes me wonder if the kitchen is equally dirty. I don't know if we will be back.... If you guys own a mop, PLEASE use it!!!

Sooooooo as a florida native who absolutely loves blue front bbq sauce, I was so disappointed that I did not know this restaurant existed, but once I found out I took the first opportunity I had to try it out and when I tell you it was amazing I really mean it was amazing!! I was so impressed with the atmosphere and the food that I wanted to go back the next day! The outdoor patio was so tropical and cozy that I begged my husband to have my next birthday on the patio. It is a must try and get hooked kinda place! Great job blue front!!

I went back with friends and I have a completely different opinion about this place. Marcus is an excellent bartender and the staff was kind and assertive this time around. The pulled pork was excellent and you get two sides for 12 bucks. They brought the wrong side but replaced it quickly and left the wrong side for the table which was nice. Parking was easy and the atmosphere was great. Will go back again.

The best thing I can say about this place is that the service and sides were good, but the St. Louis Ribs were just ok and didn't endear me to return. That being said some members in our party enjoyed it more than myself. Let's face it, you go to a BBQ place for the BBQ and I was not blown away or WOW'ed. Even the sauce was underwhelming.

Hidden dinner place ... Only found by word of mouth. Our visit started on a down note when the service staff called us for an outside spot, and an outside spot wasn't actually available. So they stuck us in a weird corner where the stairs come out of the main dining room. That should have been our first indication. The manager introduced our server, who we literally never saw again. Finally, another woman came by and said she noticed we'd been sitting there for quite sometime without drinks. This was 30 minutes from having been seated. By that time, as you can imagine, we were ready to walk out. I'm thankful for the server that came to us, because she redeemed our visit. The food and drinks came fast and delicious after that. I'm looking forward to visiting again, but hope that the service has improved.

Overpriced slow service and ribs that we're very average. Overall the building is a draw, the pal beach affect has afforded diners odd shaped plates and over seasoned food. Could not locate a smoker by sight or smell. Posed a photo of a bathroom cleaning product on the bar next to the scotch. I suggest until the kinks are worked out in the kitchen and the house you all dine somewhere else G

I have mixed feelings writing this review. As a WPB local, I grew up on Blue Front BBQ and was beyond excited when I learned they were opening a new restaurant. Unfortunately, my excitement was short lived. My first experience with this restaurant was for my boyfriend's 28th birthday. While the food was good, the service left a lot to be desired. We chalked it up to the server being young and overwhelmed by a big, boisterous party and we had a great time regardless. That's where the positives end. The next time my boyfriend and I tried to dine at Blue Front, we were looking for a late dinner, so we called ahead to ask what time they closed. The hostess said we were fine as long as we got there before 10, so we headed straight there and arrived around 9:40. Despite just calling, we were turned away by the hostess because "the kitchen was closing." I reminded her that we had just called 15 minutes prior and were told we could be seated anytime before 10, but she gave us a dazed, unresponsive look. The last (and probably final) time we visited, we took my dad out for Father's Day so he could revisit his favorite BBQ joint from 30 years ago. After checking the website to see if they're open (because the hostesses clearly can't be relied upon), we showed up around 7:30 only to find a sign on the door saying "kitchen closed, bar open." Unacceptable. While I still think Blue Front has the greatest BBQ sauce, there's only so much that flavor can makeup for absolutely terrible management.
